According to official reports, 30-year-old Nathaniel James Riley was riding a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on US Highway 287, William Hilton Parkway. For reasons unknown, a Nissan SUV attempted to turn left onto Squire Pope Road in front of the motorcycle. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
