How do I access my Okta account? ›

Usually the login page is “companyname”.okta.com. Alternatively, if you were sent an activation link email, the sign in page will be in the email body. Otherwise, contact your company's IT department to obtain the correct okta login page URL.

Sign in to your organization's app dashboard to access apps protected by Okta. In your browser, type your organization's sign-in URL, such as https://example.okta.com, or https://atko.biz. Enter your username and password and follow the authentication prompts.

Open https://admin/ in your browser and sign in using the default credentials.

If you don't know your username, contact your company's help desk who set up your organization's Okta accounts. If you forgot your password, use the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the sign-in page to generate a new one. If the link isn't available, contact your IT department.

To find your Okta URL (also called an Okta domain): Sign in to your Okta organization with your administrator account. Locate the Okta domain by clicking your username in the upper-right corner of the Admin Console. The domain appears in the dropdown menu.

Okta Mobile is an app for iPads, iPhones, or Android devices. When you launch Okta Mobile, you get one-click access to all your applications managed by Okta. From Okta Mobile you can also enroll in Okta Mobility Management (OMM) if it's configured by your organization.

What is Okta. Okta is a customizable, secure, and drop-in solution to add authentication and authorization services to your applications. Get scalable authentication built right into your application without the development overhead, security risks, and maintenance that come from building it yourself.

To use Okta Verify, you must first enable and configure it for your org. Then, users must install the Okta Verify app on their devices and set it up. When users sign in to Okta, they can verify their identity by approving a push notification in the app, or by entering a one-time code provided by the app into Okta.

Open the app and tap Launch dashboard. Note for administrators: This feature is only available on Okta Identity Engine. To check if you have Okta FastPass, open Okta Verify and tap your account.

The Okta password is the password used to sign on to Okta. If you have configured Okta to use delegated authentication with Active Directory (AD) or LDAP, the password used to sign in to Okta is the Active Directory or LDAP password.

Okta generates credentials for you (called a client ID and client secret) that you copy into your code to associate your project with the Okta app integration.
