Still a venerable stalwart of hot Pho soup on a cold GTA day. Their broth is flavourful and matches well with the rice noodles and bloodiness of rare beef. Odd 1/2 2nd floor used for storage that looks like an old Chinese noodle place. Too bad you can't be seated up there. Attentive service.
I told them I dont want meat and still there were little meat pieces in the broth. Waiteress didn't tell me tofu would be extra 3$ and I could not touch the broth! So overall 16$ with tips not worth it! Tea was really good though! This place was 3.7 on Google so I went in with low expectation
Good food.Pho soup is good, yet not very hot.Beef rice is good. Curry and nan is very good!Hainan Chicken was not fresh.

- Consider opting for lunch specials or raw beef pho for a satisfying meal experience
Reviews
V.I.P Vietnamese Restaurant is a beloved spot for hot Pho soup, with flavorful broth and tender beef. Despite some minor issues like meat pieces in the broth or extra charges for tofu, customers appreciate the attentive service and good tea. Families find it ideal with kid-friendly amenities, free WIFI, clean environment, friendly staff, tasty dishes at fair prices despite dated decor. The place is praised for its large portions of delicious food even though the interior may look tacky.

Despite moving from different parts of the city over the last 15 years, we have made coming here an almost weekly visit. I never really thought about why but in writing this review I think it hits every checkbox for me and my family.Family-friendly environment-Clean-Booster and Highchairs for kids-Kid sized plastic bowls available-Clean bathrooms-Free WIFI (to keep those kids entertained)Excellent staff-Friendly-Attentive-Fast serviceTasty Pho and dishes-Great portions-Fair pricing-Lots of varietySo sure...the decor looks a bit dated. But if it came at a cost to anything of the above, I'd be more than happy to leave it alone. It's simply a fantastic place to eat.I just wanted to add that if you're some "influencer" or some douche bag that needs their ego stroked in a posh environment, go elsewhere. I don't like having my appetite ruined by the scourge of humanity.
Delicious Vietnamese meal with affordable price, but I wished the sets meal were larger in size so that they would be perfect for group settings.
